Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of Russia Irek Fayzullin, Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Aizatullin and others visited Kazan State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering today. The visit took place on the eve of the meeting of the final board of the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Upon arrival at the university, the guests viewed the exhibition "We are defending the Motherland!". The exhibition tells about the students and staff of the university who defended their Homeland during the Great Patriotic War and the Special Military Operation, as well as those who participated in the international mission in Afghanistan. There is also an exhibition of volunteer products for the needs of the SVO, made by students.
Then the guests got acquainted with the progress of the project of the RT Process Management Center (incident management systems for managing the operation of social facilities) and visited the museum of the history of KGASU.
Next, a presentation of the works of young scientists of KGASU took place. These include scientific and technical support for the construction of the cinema and concert hall in Almetyevsk and the EP-600 ethylene plant in Nizhnekamsk, participation in the development of the general plan of Naberezhnye Chelny, the project of prefabricated bridge structures based on wooden beams reinforced with polymer composite elements and a number of other works.
The new scientific and educational center "Durability/Ozakka chydamlyk" was also presented to the guests. The center develops the competencies of students and trainees in determining the durability of building materials used in construction, monitoring their condition at various stages, starting from the design and injection of buildings and structures. Rustam Minnikhanov and Irek Fayzullin got acquainted with the work of laboratories on accelerated climate testing, on the technology of manufacturing composite materials and on digital modeling of composite materials.
