Veterans and workers of housing and communal services of Tatarstan were solemnly honored in Kazan
Today, a traditional solemn event dedicated to the Day of Housing and Communal Services Workers took place in the Saidash Cultural Center.
First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Nigmatullin and Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Aizatullin addressed the veterans and employees of housing and communal Services.
In his congratulatory speech, Marat Aizatullin stressed that housing and communal services is one of the most important areas on which the quality of life of people, stable operation of cities and districts, comfort and safety in every home directly depend.
"Today, more than 27,000 people work in the housing and communal services system of Tatarstan. Thanks to your professionalism, experience and dedication, large-scale programs are being consistently implemented in the Republic," said the head of the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan. - Over the past year, we have overhauled 878 apartment buildings and replaced 678 elevators. According to the Our Yard program, 677 yards have been improved, and more than 680 km of networks have been replaced under the municipal infrastructure modernization program."
According to Marat Aizatullin, the work will continue this year. Major repairs of 706 apartment buildings in 42 municipalities, replacement of 99 elevators in 44 buildings, and improvement of 561 courtyards are planned. A serious amount of tasks has also been set for the modernization of the municipal infrastructure: about 250 km of networks have to be replaced.
Marat Aizatullin congratulated the workers and veterans of the industry on their professional holiday.
"The main wealth of the industry is, of course, people. Those who ensure reliable operation of the entire system around the clock, promptly solve complex tasks and work in the interests of the residents of the republic," the minister noted. "I would like to express my special gratitude to the industry veterans, whose experience and knowledge help educate a new generation of utility professionals, as well as to resource supply organizations and management companies restoring engineering infrastructure in new territories for their great and responsible work in fulfilling their tasks."
During the solemn event, state and republican awards were presented to the best workers of the housing and communal services of Tatarstan.
