The program «Housing for the Russian family» should be developed by March

 Head of the Russian Government Dmitry Medvedev instructed  to develop and approve the program "Housing for the Russian family" by March 2014.

The implementation of this program allows to build more than 25 million square meters of housing by 2017.

Term till 17 th of March

D. Medvedev also instructed to  make following adjustments in the legislation: simplification of the procedure for granting land plots for construction, establishing the obligation of local authorities to exhibit vacant land plots for auction on transparent and strictly regulated procedure, establishing the obligation of the developer to start construction on schedule, and also definition of mechanism of termination of developer's rights to such land plots in case of default of this duty;
