The meeting discussed issues of cooperation in the field of landfill reclamation for municipal solid waste and silt fields. Special attention was paid to cooperation in the field of plumbing and sewage. The delegation included representatives of the companies: Kaukointernational, Efirec, Doranova, Tapiola Golf, Marinetek. The guests were presented with information on the potential of the republic, as well as on the progress in implementing the reform of the waste management system in the region. Opening the meeting, the Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Public Utilities of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ildus Nasyrov, emphasized that there are long-standing useful contacts and many areas of mutual interest between Tatarstan and Finland. Business representatives presented their opportunities in the field of waste disposal and recycling, reclamation of solid waste landfills and silt fields as well as technological and engineering solutions for production lines in the pulp and paper industry, demonstrating advantages over competitors. According to company president Nyiles Ayrol, “Kaukointernational” is a trading house with a 70-year history, which operates in 22 countries and specializes in energy-efficient technologies, waste recycling, alternative energy with the implementation of turnkey projects. The turnover of the group of principal companies amounted to more than 20 billion euros for 2018. At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed on further cooperation and exchange of information.

In the village of Nizhnyaya Oshma, Mamadysh district of the Republic of Tatarstan, a kindergarten updated after major repairs was opened. The kindergarten has long been in need of repair - 11 million rubles were allocated from the republican budget for this purpose, 1.3 million rubles were received from the district budget. The builders carried out work to replace the power grid, water supply and sanitation networks, replaced windows and the entrance group, and also updated the building’s facade. 56 children came to the renewed kindergarten.

In the village of Tingash of the Alshikhovo rural settlement, the 15th modular feldsher-midwife station in the Buinsky district was opened. The head of the Buinsky district Marat Zyabbarov took part in the opening ceremony of the new healthcare facility. Now the villagers have the opportunity to seek qualified medical care in the modern FMS. Today, about 400 residents live in the village of Tingash. According to the head of the district, the opening of this medical center was another step towards the implementation of measures aimed at improving primary health care to the population.

For each nomination three times a year, the best author and material are selected and announced, which will later be included in the shortlist of the award. On its basis, winners will be determined at the end of the year. Application deadlines for each of the three stages: Materials published in the period from 1st of October, 2018 to 31st of January, 2019 are accepted in stage 1 of the competition. Applications are submitted until 15th of February, inclusive. The announcement of the winners of the 1st quarter will take place on the 28th of February, 2019. Materials published in the period from 1st February to 31st of May, 2019 are accepted in the 2nd stage of the competition. Applications are submitted until 15th of June, inclusive. The announcement of the winners of the 2nd stage will take place on the 30th of June, 2019. Materials published in the period from 1st of June to 30th of September, 2019 are accepted in the 3rd stage of the competition. Applications are submitted until 15th of October, inclusive. The announcement of the winners of the 3rd stage will take place on 31st of October, 2019, after which the final annual debriefing and rewarding of the winners will take place. On September 3, speaking at a meeting at the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, Tatarstan Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities Irek Faizullin said that a regional programme on the improvement of the yards of multi-apartments houses has been launched. The Ministry held an inventory of 8,861 yards and according to its result, each yard received a passport, which indicates the area of the yard, green area and asphalt pavement, the number of apartments, porches and the length of the fences.

The improvement will primarily start in the courtyards built before 2014 and which had not been put in order before. It is planned to implement seven types of work in each yard, namely, asphalt pavement, replacement of wells and lighting organization will become mandatory types of work. The benches will also be put and playgrounds will be developed.

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov supported the proposal of the United Russia party to establish a new programme “Our Yard”. It is planned to allocate 50 billion roubles for its implementation. Due to the programme, about 3 million residents of Tatarstan will assess the positive changes that will take place in their yards.

After a major overhaul, a school in which also a kindergarten will be located was opened in the village of Podlesnaya Shentala, Alekseevsky district of Tatarstan. Repair of the school was carried out as part of the republican program for the overhaul repairing of preschool educational and general educational institutions in the Republic of Tatarstan in 2019. So, as part of a major overhaul repairing in the building, windows and doors were replaced, internal engineering networks, a blind area, an entrance group and a facade were repaired. Also carried out internal finishing work. 14.9 million rubles were allocated for all types of work from the republican budgets.

The Kazan Fair exhibition center hosted an annual roundtable discussion on the theme of "Expanding the Use of Republican-Made Petrochemical Products in the Construction Industry". The event was moderated by the Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan, Irek Fayzullin. The round table was attended by the heads of enterprises and organizations of the construction complex, design organizations and institutes. Opening the meeting, the Minister noted that over the past 10 years, about 60 chemical and petrochemical plants focused on the production of construction products or products have been commissioned in Tatarstan, which is a raw material for the production of building materials and products. “From 2010 to today, 139 enterprises of the building materials industry were commissioned and modernized in the republic. Of course, a significant role in the development of production of building materials is assigned to the SEZ “Alabuga”. On its territory that conditions have been created for the organization of import-substituting industries. Currently, 57 residents are registered, and about a third of them are focused on the production of products used in the construction and maintenance of buildings,” - Irek Fayzullin said. He also spoke about the volumes of products shipped by the enterprises of the building materials industry of the Republic of Tatarstan: “In 2018 - 41.8 billion rubles, in January-June 2019 - 20.2 billion rubles”.

On August 30, speaking at the Government House of the republic at a regional video-conference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and all regions of the republic, Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities of the republic Irek Faizullin reported on the implementation of capital repair programme of multi-apartment houses and social and cultural facilities in Tatarstan.

Opening the meeting, Minnikhanov congratulated the colleagues on the Republic Day.

Faizullin said that a total of 942 multi-apartment houses in 42 municipal regions are planned to be overhauled in the republic.

As of August 29, as many as 25 general education institutions have been fully overhauled.

The capital repair of four recourse centres, three children’s recreation camps, 18 youth clubs,5 buildings of youth centres of Tatarstan, 22 cultural facilities, 26 buildings of Executives Committees (Councils) of municipalities, 14 social services institutions and 8 municipal archives is under way in the republic.

The construction of 15 rural club, 7 buildings of Executives Committees (Councils) and 14 block-modular centres of integrated services is being continued.

As many as 35 obstetric centres and 6 medical outpatient clinics are being constructed under the programme for the development of general medical services and five health facilities are being overhauled.

Faizullin also reported on the preparation of socio-cultural facilities for the new heating season.

On 31st of August, 2019, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, as part of a working trip to Almetyevsk, got acquainted with the progress of the reconstruction of urban wastewater treatment plants. He was accompanied by the head of the executive committee of the Almetyevsk region Timur Nagumanov and director general of STI “Fund for gasification of energy-saving technologies and development of engineering networks of the Republic of Tatarstan” Jaudat Minnakhmetov. The existing treatment facilities of Almetyevsk have been operated without major repairs for more than 45 years. In 2017-2018, design estimates for the reconstruction of the facility were developed. The project provides for the introduction of a modern biological wastewater treatment system using nitri- and denitrification and biological phosphorus removal technologies. RT President was informed that a significant amount of work has been completed to date. In particular, the construction of a mechanical cleaning casing with coarse and fine gratings was completed, the primary sedimentation tanks and the blower station were reconstructed, as well as other types of work. Also, Rustam Minnikhanov got acquainted with the further implementation of the reconstruction project.
