Ten construction projects in the historical center of Kazan were discussed today at the meeting in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan chaired by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. The correspondence of the presented projects to the historical look of the city was discussed at the meeting. The presented projects include the building in the corner of Butlerov Str. and Mayakovsky Str. which used to house a cultural centre for public health care workers. According to the investor the new building being restored in its former look will house a budget hotel. Another project is a four-storey boarding ballet school in Bolshaya Krasnaya Str. A number of projects were presented after significant changes made after the observations made at previous meetings concerning, in particular, the increase of the area of ​​landscaping and the creation of parks. In some cases, the investors in addition to the construction of new facilities committed to restore lost historic buildings located nearby.

A meeting of the working group established by the Order of Minister I.E.Fayzullin to implement the Housing Code of the Russian Federation and Federal Law “On the Fund assisting the restructuring of housing and public utilities” in the Republic of Tatarstan took place in the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting was held by Deputy Chairman of the Working Group, Deputy Minister R.K.Karimov. In connection with the amendments made to the Housing Code of the Russian Federation by Federal Law No. 271-FZ "On amendments to the Housing Code of the Russian Federation and certain legislative acts of the Russian Federation and the admission of certain provisions of legislative acts of the Russian Federation as void” of 25/12/2012 a corresponding law of the Republic of Tatarstan is to be passed.

A meeting on the issue of training and retraining of personnel in the sphere of housing and public utilities took place today in the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting was held by Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan A.M.Frolov. The municipalities of the Republic participated in the meeting.

A key report was made by Director of Non-Profit Partnership “Association of companies managing aging apartment houses of the Republic of Tatarstan” N.F.Fatyikhov. 1 134 experts were trained in 2012. More than 5 thousand experts are to be trained in 2013. In total, according to the action plan of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan for training, retraining and skills development of the personnel in the sphere of housing and public utilities more than 21 thousand experts from the areas of the Republic are to be trained by the end of 2016.

A tender commission meeting on the implementation of program “Rural clubs” in 2012 took place in the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting was held by Head of the Administration for the Construction Complex Development I.S.Gimayev. The meeting was attended by representatives of subordinate organizations, sector ministries and municipalities. Last year the Ministry announced a tender to determine the best cultural facilities in the municipalities of the Republic built in the framework of program “Rural clubs”.

Today a videoconference meeting on the housing construction and commission, the provision of housing for the veterans of the Second World War, the implementation of the Republican target program on the citizens’ movement from the failing housing stock took place in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan.  The meeting was chaired by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan R.N. Minnikhanov.  The key report was made by Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan I.E.Faizullin.

The lawyers of the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in offsite activities of the information and advisory group to provide free legal assistance to people from rural areas. This time such assistance was provided to residents of Verkhneuslonsky municipal area.

The residents were interested in the implementation of their rights to housing, the provision of public services and other issues within the competence of the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan.

A videoconference meeting with representatives of municipalities on the construction of facility “Football stadium for 45 000 spectators, Chistopolskaya Str.”, the implementation of the programs on major repairs and movement from the failing housing stock took place in the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting was held by Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan A.M.Frolov. Heads of executive committees of the municipalities as well as heads of industry enterprises attended the meeting.

First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan F.M.Khanifov joined the meeting. He once again asked the heads of the districts to carry out a more careful selection of workers. It is important to involve qualified experts in the construction.
