Today, a meeting on the construction of the Kazan underground took place in the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting was held by Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan A.S.Akhmetshin. The meeting was attended by representatives of the contractors hired to work at the facility. The meeting began with a discussion of the number of employees in different parts of the construction site.

The official opening ceremony of the reconstructed section of motorway Mamadyshsky trakt (the section from interchange Azinskaya 2 Str. to interchange M-7 “Volga”) was held today. The ceremony was attended by President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Head of the Federal Road Agency Roman Starovoit, Minister of Transport and Road facilities of the Republic of Tatarstan Lenar Safin, Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Irek Faizullin, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and others. It is to be recalled that the contractor is “Kazdorstroi” OJSC. The motorway provides the access from Kazan to federal motorway M-7 “Volga” as well as to the cities of Naberezhnye Chelny and Ufa. The length of the motorway is 7.1 km, the width is up to 6 lanes, the pavements width is 2.25 m. There are two underground and two above ground walkways, and three traffic lights. The peak traffic flow here is up to 30 thousand cars per day.

Today, in the Kazan Kremlin State Advisor of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Republican Fund for revival of historical and cultural monuments Mintimer Shaimiyev held a meeting on the reconstruction and improvement of the complex of Holy Spring “Well of Socius Gabdrakhman” located in the north-eastern part of Bolgar settlement.

Mintimer Shaimiyev noted that the implementation of project “Cultural heritage of Tatarstan: ancient city of Bolgar and island of Sviyazhsk” was being carried out according to the plan; a list of work for 2013 in Bolgar and Sviyazhsk had been approved. “Now we have come close to one of the most important projects of the year, to the restoration of natural and historical monument. It is the well of Socius Gabdrakhman. We have to make it one of the most popular and attractive places of the ancient city of Bolgar. There are all prerequisites: the well, detailed information about the well; besides, there are many legends associated with this place. It is time to approve the project in order to begin working in spring”, added the State Advisor.

On February 7th, 2013 at 16:00 the first workshop that the Center for Nanotechnology of the Republic of Tatarstan holds together with RUSNANO, will take place in the conference hall of Technopark “Ideya”. The mission of the workshop is to help Russian experts on standardization, certification and quality to know all features of international standards of nanotechnology industry. Head of the Directorate of Standardization, Metrology and Certification of RUSNANO Yu.G.Tkachuk will report during the workshop. The workshop is open to the public.

Today, a meeting between a delegation of Malaysian company «XYBASE» and the leadership of the Ministry took place in the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Ministers A.S Akhmetshin and A.M.Frolov and attended by experts of the Ministry. The delegation was headed by President of company «XYBASE» Suhaymi Abu Hassan.

The company is interested in the information development. Malaysian company «XYBASE» has developed a system of electronic support for business processes «BLESS». The system based on the “one window” principle and is effective when business interacts with government authorities. Thanks to “BLESS” companies can apply for a license by means of any internet portal without leaving the office, and control the status of the application in online mode.

Today the State Corporation – Fund assisting the restructuring of Housing and Public Utilities holds an all-Russian teleconference. First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan F.M.Khanifov attended the meeting. The participants discussed the implementation of regional target programs on major repairs in apartment houses, citizens’ movement from the failing housing stock and modernization of public infrastructure under Federal Law 185-FZ “On the Fund assisting restructuring of Housing and Public Utilities” for the coming three-year period, as well as the formation and operation of regional centers of social control in the housing sector including the implementation of new rules for the public services provision.

Issues of infrastructure construction of special economic zone “Alabuga” were discussed at a meeting with contractors held by Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Yu.L.Alyashev.

Today President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited a new building of child health centre No.4 and a repaired building of maternity hospital No.1 in Kazan. He was accompanied by Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and Minister of Health of the Republic Airat Farrakhov.

Welcome Day on the construction site on the new stadium for 45 thousand spectators (Kazan, Chistopolskaya Str.) will be arranged for heads of municipalities of Tatarstan in the coming weeks. Such proposal was made today by Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Farit Khanifov at the republican meeting in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan. President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, who held the videoconference meeting with all municipal areas, supported the proposal. According to Farit Khanifov, currently builders from 36 municipalities are working on the site. He noted that the heads of the municipalities would be interested to see the work being carried out by builders from certain areas.
