Malaysian company interested in opportunities and potential of simplification of licensing procedures in the construction sector of the Republic

Today, a meeting between a delegation of Malaysian company «XYBASE» and the leadership of the Ministry took place in the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Ministers A.S Akhmetshin and A.M.Frolov and attended by experts of the Ministry. The delegation was headed by President of company «XYBASE» Suhaymi Abu Hassan.

The company is interested in the information development. Malaysian company «XYBASE» has developed a system of electronic support for business processes «BLESS». The system based on the “one window” principle and is effective when business interacts with government authorities. Thanks to “BLESS” companies can apply for a license by means of any internet portal without leaving the office, and control the status of the application in online mode.

The meeting began with brief information about the construction sector of the Republic of Tatarstan presented by A.S.Akhmetshin. Since most of the guests were interested in the authority of the Ministry related to the licensing and inspection procedures, this issue was discussed by the participants in more detail. According to Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan A.M.Frolov the Ministry carries out such work only if it is an object geographically attached not to one but two municipalities of the Republic.

The guests were introduced to the existing practice of obtaining permits in the construction sector. The important role of simplifying this process being a key factor in attracting additional investment was paid great attention to. It was decided that on the basis of the information received the guests would present their proposals concerning the existing opportunities and potential of simplification of licensing procedures.
