Today manufacturers of nanoproducts face four major challenges preventing their products to enter the market. Firstly, it is the necessity to prove that the product is indeed associated with nanotechnology, that it is not an advertising trick; then to show higher functional characteristics obtained by means of nanotechnology, on the expert level, and to confirm the safety performance because this is very important to the consumer who is still afraid of nanotechnology. And the last challenge is the stability of production that is to every time manufacture a product with specified characteristics.
On February 7th, 2013 at 16:00 the first workshop that the Center for Nanotechnology of the Republic of Tatarstan holds together with RUSNANO, will take place in the conference hall of Technopark “Ideya”. The mission of the workshop is to help Russian experts on standardization, certification and quality to know all features of international standards of nanotechnology industry. Head of the Directorate of Standardization, Metrology and Certification of RUSNANO Yu.G.Tkachuk will report during the workshop.
- What is the benefit get during this workshop?
- Regulatory and Engineering Provisions are a tool that provides a guaranteed access of nanoproducts onto the free market.
- Consultation of the experts during the communication.
- The latest news of the world standardization.
- Sharing knowledge and experience with colleagues from other organizations.
The subjects covered during the workshop will touch upon many aspects of the work with nanostandards:
- Why has the notion of “standard” become abusive in Russia?
- What has been done in the field of technical regulations for manufacturers of innovative products of nanotechnology?
- How to connect to the center for standardization in the field of innovation and to participate in the program on the regulatory and technical support of the production of composite materials?
The workshop is open to the public.
