From January 21 to January 25, 2019, the Week of preparation for the 45th world championship in professional skills WorldSkills Kazan 2019 (competition preparation week) was held in Kazan. On January 25, Worldskills International chief expert on Plumbing and heating competence Markus Niderer (Switzerland) visited KGASU. The guest was introduced to the engineering center "Systems" and the scientific and educational center "Strength", told about successful projects implemented in the architectural and educational space "BFFT.space". Markus visited the training session of the national team of Russia, conducted on the basis of the Department "Power Engineering, Gas Supply and Ventilation". He noted that he was delighted with the laboratory base of the university, which, in his words, "is not inferior to the laboratory bases of Europe."
