Tatarstan took the first place in the Volga Federal district for housing

At the end of 2018, Tatarstan took the first place in the Volga Federal district and the sixth place among the subjects of Russia.

In the first place was the Moscow region (8.8 million sq m), followed by Krasnodar region (4.4 million sq m), Saint-Petersburg (3.95 million sq. m.), Moscow (3.5 million sq. m.), Leningrad oblast (2.64 million sq. m.).

We remind you that over the past 8 years more than 2 million 400 thousand square meters of housing are annually introduced in the Republic (2 million 409,9 thousand square meters in 2018). Tatarstan has achieved one of the highest indicators of housing provision per 1 inhabitant in the Russian Federation - 26.2 sq. m.
