Tatarstan and Uzbekistan discussed bilateral cooperation in the field of construction and communal services

The meeting discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of housing, legislation in the field of urban planning and architecture, housing and communal services. Special attention was paid to the sphere of heat and power supply, the water supply and sewerage facilities of the republic. Welcoming the Uzbek delegation, Irek Faizullin noted the importance of developing bilateral relations and expressed confidence that the meeting would serve as an impetus for the further active development of Tatarstan-Uzbekistan relations in general and in the field of housing and housing and communal services in particular. In his speech, the Minister noted that during the last 8 years, more than 2 million 400 thousand square meters of housing were introduced annually in Tatarstan (approximately 2 million. 409.9 thousand square meters in 2018). This allows the construction organizations to work and maintains competition among developers, as a deterrent to the rise in housing prices. Reached one of the highest in the Russian Federation indicator of housing per 1 resident (approx. 26.2 square meters in RT and 25.2 square meters in the Russian Federation). It is also planned this year to implement 40 state programs that have a huge impact on the quality of life of the population of the republic. “We are always glad to share the gained useful experience with our colleagues, including foreign partners,” - emphasized I.E. Faizullin. In response, the ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan also stressed the importance of bilateral relations, expressing the hope that the development of Tatarstan-Uzbekistan relations will reach a new level of cooperation with closer relations.
