21 May 2019, Tuesday

The museum-educational complex will consist of two objects - the craft of the Tu-144 and a separate building. On the opening day of the VII National Championship "Young Professionals", a discussion was held on the implementation of the project “an interactive museum-educational complex of aviation and technology based on the TU-144 aircraft” with the Minister of Higher Education and Science of the Russian Federation Mikhail Kotyukov. The meeting was attended by the Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan Irek Faizullin. As Albert Gilmutdinov, the rector of KNRTU-KAI, noted, there are no such interactive museums based on supersonic passenger aircraft in any country of the world. According to the rector of the university, the project has international tourism potential. The head of the Ministry of Construction of Tatarstan reported that the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan allocated about 1.5 million rubles for design and exploration work. To date, the design and estimate documentation is in a high degree of readiness. The developed planning decisions were agreed with the university (note KNRTU-KAI), and the draft design of the object with the chief architect of Kazan. Design and estimate documentation is planned to be sent to the state examination before the end of the month.
