The discussion forum was prepared and conducted by the Kazan University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, together with the Ministry of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan. Representatives of departments, expert and design organizations, industrial enterprises of the region discussed the technical and economic efficiency of using high-strength concrete, the real possibility of their production and use of concrete (reinforced concrete) of the republic at factories and other important topics. Welcoming the guests, the deputy head of the Ministry of Construction of Tatarstan Ilshat Gimaev noted that during the last 8 years, more than 2 million 400 thousand square meters of housing were introduced in the Republic annually. Last year, 2 million 409.9 thousand square meters of housing were commissioned, which is 3.2% of the housing built in the whole of the Russian Federation. He also said that the implementation of government programs aimed at building housing and social facilities provides great support to the construction industry. To date, 41 programs for the construction of facilities for various purposes are being implemented in the republic. The developed base of the industry of building materials of the Republic allows to realize technically complex, architectural projects in accordance with modern requirements.
“Today the construction complex of the republic is provided by 402 enterprises. The competitiveness of construction products, the growing need to increase the volume of housing construction leads to the need to switch to new forms and methods of construction, it becomes necessary to use the most advanced materials and technologies, the introduction of which helps to reduce the cost of work and increase labor productivity,” - Ilshat Gimaev emphasized. Further, the meeting was addressed by Vadim Khozin, head of the Department of technology of building materials, products and structures (KGASU). In his report, he spoke about the production and use of high-strength concrete in the construction complex of the Republic of Tatarstan. The report was also made by the head of the Kazan branch of the FAI Glavgosekspertiza of Russia Farit Khanifov on the topic “Suggestions for the mechanism for the development of estimated standards in the FAI Glavgosekspertiza of Russia”. After the speakers, a discussion took place on the issues discussed. Summing up, the representative of the Ministry of Construction expressed confidence that the joint work with scientific institutions, designers, builders and manufacturers will help to ensure the improvement of quality, durability and reliability of buildings, structures and other infrastructure facilities being built.
