The representative of All-Russia People's Front: Improvement of the urban environment in Tatarstan is at a high level
Formation of improvement of the comfortable urban environment in Tatarstan is at a high level. The coordinator of the Center for Monitoring the Improvement of the Urban Environment Pavel Zhbanov told about this during the round table on the theme “Forming a comfortable urban environment” in KFU. “I can say unequivocally that the solution of tasks for the improvement and formation of a comfortable urban environment in Tatarstan is at a very high level. It is apparent that these issues in the republic are not dealt with for the first day - this is not a startup,” - said the Vice-Rector of the Moscow Architectural Institute. He added that the republican program for the improvement of the urban environment began earlier than the federal national project “Housing and the urban environment” and this was a factor in the fact that the cities of Tatarstan were already generally improved.
At the round table, Pavel Zhbanov presented a report on the testing of Tatarstan cities, which won a grant of 920 million rubles in a contest for the best projects to create a comfortable urban environment in small cities and historical settlements. The All-Russian Grant Competition was held in May 2018. From Tatarstan, projects from 24 cities participated and 14 of them became winners: Menzelinsk, Agryz, Kukmor, Bavly, Nurlat, Chistopol, etc.
