Overhaul of apartment buildings in Tatarstan is almost 99% complete. This was announced at a press conference in IA "Tatar-inform" by the head of the Department of operation and implementation of housing and communal services programs of the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan Ayrat Gallyamov. “To date, about 99% of the total overhaul of multi-apartment buildings has been completed. The work was completed at 930 sites, another 5 sites are at the completion stage,” - said the speaker. He added that in 2019, the implementation of the short-term plan should ensure safe and favorable living conditions for more than 200 thousand citizens in 935 apartment buildings with a total area of 5.5 million square meters. The funding for the program amounted to more than 5 billion rubles. During the implementation of the program in the Republic of Tatarstan from 2008 to 2018, 15 thousand 683 apartment buildings with a total area of 79.7 million square meters were repaired, and the number of residents of the houses in which the overhaul was carried out is 3 million 498 thousand people.
