The positive experience of the Tatarstan regional operator was presented at the national level

Today in Moscow, the results of the first year of work of regional operators for the treatment of MSW were discussed. The All-Russian meeting was held by Ruslan Gubaidullin, Executive Director of the "Clean Country", an association of organizations, operators and specialists in waste management. The Tatarstan regional operator in the eastern zone was invited to share experience in ensuring payment discipline of consumers. A report was made by the general LLC "Grinta" Svetlana Yarlychenko. “In Tatarstan, in general, work has been started on the collection of payments for utilities,” - she said. - In percentage terms, this is 98.3%. For 9 months, our collection from the population for services for the treatment of MSW amounted to 92.2%.” Grinta LLC serves 23 municipalities of Tatarstan, including the city of Naberezhnye Chelny, with population 1 mln. 923 thousand people and 743 thousand tons of waste per year. The meeting also examined the legal regulation of the industry and the creation of a legal framework for the activities of regional operators, targets for waste management by 2024, the experience of Moscow, Lipetsk, Kirov, Ivanovo, Bryansk regions.
