The work of the Fund of Housing and Public Utilities of Russia discussed in Kazan

On December 25th, 2012 an extended meeting “On the work of the State Corporation – Fund assisting restructuring of Housing and Public Utilities for the period of 2007-2012., and the prospects for its work in 2013-2015” is to be held in Kazan. According to information agency REGNUM representatives of federal and regional authorities as well as experts in the field of housing and public utilities will attend the meeting.

Director General of the State Corporation – Fund assisting restructuring of Housing and Public Utilities Konstantin Tsitsin will tell the participants about the implementation of the Federal Law “On the Fund assisting restructuring of Housing and Public Utilities” for the period of 2007-2012.

First Deputy Director General of Fund assisting restructuring of Housing and Public Utilities Vladimir Talalykin will outline the main directions and approaches to the implementation of programs on major repairs in apartment houses and citizens’ movement from the failing housing stock as well as the modernization of the municipal infrastructure in 2013-2015.

Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Irek Faizullin will report on the implementation of the Federal Law “On the Fund assisting restructuring of Housing and Public Utilities” in Tatarstan.

Deputy Director General of the Fund of Housing and Public Utilities Oleg Rurin will make a report on the measures to improve the efficiency of the implementation of regional programs and fulfillment of the terms of the provision of financial support from the funds of the state corporation.

Moreover, it is expected that some of the reports will be devoted to the production, installation and operation of metering devices as well as the execution of energy service agreements. According to the results of these discussions some agreements are to be signed.

National companies and organizations which were the best ones during the restructuring of housing and public utilities in Tatarstan will be awarded during the event.

It is to be recalled that according to a new version of the Law on the Fund of Housing and Public Utilities which was adopted on Friday, December 14th, 2012, the main task to be solved by providing financial support of the state corporation in 2013-2015 is to move people from the failing housing stock recognized as such on January 1st, 2012. In this period 10 560.000 square meters of the failing housing stock are to be resettled. For this purpose the state budget will allocate about 107 billion rubles. Simultaneously, the Fund will continue to co-finance major repairs in apartment houses as well as the modernization of the municipal infrastructure.
