A number of municipalities of the Republic did not report on major repair in schools for the past year

On February 18th, 2013  the Order of the Government of the Russian Federation on the allocation of money to the Federal Fund assisting the restructuring of housing and public utilities for programs on major repairs in apartment houses, citizen’ movement from the failing housing stock and modernization of housing and public utilities is to be signed. After that, the limits of the financial support rendered by the Fund will be reported to constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

As Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan  Irek Faizullin reported at today's weekly republican meeting held in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan under the chairmanship of President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, a list of apartment houses to be repaired this year in the Republic includes 811 buildings in 41 municipalities. The total planned amount of the funds is more than 4.35 billion rubles.

As of today, design and estimate documentation has been submitted for 578 houses included in the program. According to the data of the State Housing Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan major repairs has been started in 179 houses in 28 municipalities.

According to the Order of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan the list of municipal schools to be repaired in 2013 includes 162 objects (including 20 schools in Kazan) and 7 special schools. The total amount of the program for this year is 2.5 billion rubles.

Meanwhile, according to the Minister, a number of municipalities did not fully report on major repairs carried out in schools last year. He asked Almetyevsky, Alkeyevsky, Verkhneuslonsky, Nurlatsky areas as well as Kazan and Naberezhnye Chelny to complete the data reporting for 7 schools. According to Irek Faizullin the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tatarstan will not give any money for this year if a municipality does not report on the work carried out last year.

 “It's not good when you have to be asked for”, said the President addressing to the heads of these municipalities. “First, you ask for money, but you will not get any until you report”, added Rustam Minnikhanov. He asked Minister of Education of the Republic Engel Fattakhov to control the reporting on major repairs in schools. “Those contractors who are unable to report should be fired”, - said the President.

According to Irek Faizullin state contracts with general contractors has been signed, and a tender to determine a design organization has been held. A contract with SUE “Tatinvestgrazhdanproyekt” has been signed; the company started surveying the objects. As of today, 118 schools out of 169 have been surveyed. Major repairs started in 62 schools.

As for the program on the construction and repairs of health facilities in municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan in 2013, as of today, Tatarstan has 68 sites ready for the construction of modular rural health posts, 26 foundations have been installed. The work on the manufacturing of structural modules is being carried out. 12 sets of rural health posts are ready for the installation. As of today, major repairs of rural health posts, ambulatories and local hospitals have been started in 14 areas.
