Standardization in housing and public utilities being on the agenda

Today, a meeting of the Council of Regional system of voluntary certification in housing and public utilities “ZhKS-Kachestvo” took place in the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan.  The meeting was held by Chairman of the Council, Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan R.K.Karimov. The agenda of the meeting included some basic questions. The Council had to make changes in the membership, approve a draft regulation on keeping a register of innovative products i.e. new technologies, equipment and materials of Regional system of voluntary certification in housing and public utilities “ZhKS-Kachestvo”, and a draft regulation on scientific-methods council  methodology of Regional system of voluntary certification in housing and public utilities “ZhKS-Kachestvo”.  During the meeting the participants were shown a presentation on “Standardization in housing and public utilities” which explained the relevance of the introduction of certification services in housing and public utilities. Moreover, the participants reviewed and approved a list of services requiring the development of a set of requirements for organizations to assess the suitability of the System, as well as discussed the interaction of System “ZhKS-Kachestvo” with automated system “Housing fund monitoring”.
