Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan I.E. Faizullin is on a working visit in Moscow. There he will take part in the 2d Russian Investment and Construction Forum. The event will be held on February 21st-22d, 2013 in Moscow in exhibition centre Gostinniy Dvor. The Forum is organized by the Ministry of Regional Development of the Russian Federation with the participation of the Federal Agency for Construction and Housing Public Utilities, National Association of Builders, National Association of Designers, and National Association of Surveyors, National Agency for Low-Rise Construction and Cottage Construction, and Russian Union of Builders.
The Forum is held in order to implement public policies for the development of housing construction in the Russian Federation, the Decree of President of Russia Vladimir Putin “On measures to provide the citizens of the Russian Federation with affordable and comfortable housing and improve the quality of housing and public utilities” No. 600 of May 7th , 2012. As one of the largest events for the leaders of the construction industry the Second Russian Investment and Construction Forum is intended to unite the interests of investors from Russia and abroad, and to establish an effective dialogue between the State and business.
An expanded meeting on “Summing up the work of the construction sector of the Russian Federation in 2012, as well as the prospects of the development of housing construction in Russia in 2013” will be held during the Forum.
One of the key themes of the Forum will the development of affordable rental housing as well as forms of interaction between the State and business to implement such projects, and also issues of self-regulation and government regulation in the construction sector. The above mentioned and other questions will be discussed in an open discussion “Perspectives of the development of non-profit housing fund in the Russian Federation”.
At the same time the business program of the Forum includes a special exhibition presenting our Republic. Our exhibition stand demonstrates major programs and projects implemented in the Republic and aimed to increase the level of housing construction. Particular attention is given to projects on territory development, low-rise construction and integrated housing development.
