Today Minister I.E.Faizullin takes part in the meeting of the interdepartmental working group on “Scientific and educational support for engineering”

Today Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan I.E.Faizullin took part in the meeting of the interdepartmental working group on “Scientific and educational support for engineering” attached to the Council for Science and Education under the President of the Russian Federation chaired by Ogorodova Lyudmila Mikhailovna - Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee for Science and High Technology.

The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Russian Federation A.A.Klimov, Director of the Department of Strategic Development of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation V.S.Osmakov, university presidents and heads of enterprises.

It should be noted that the meeting was attended by R.K.Nizamov, a President of Kazan State University for Architecture and Construction, who made a presentation of the University as well as proposals for the development of sectoral research universities.

In the course of 4.5 hours discussion of the demand for engineers in the labor market the participants listened to the opinions on the concept of sectoral research universities as well as opinions of employers and employees, and discussed further employment of graduates and their provision with material resources. In particular, one of the proposals made by I.E.Faizullin and supported by the participants was the legislative recognition of the term “young professional” and development of measures to support this category of employees.
