Exhibition and conference “Pure Water. Kazan” being held in Kazan for the fourth time

Acting President of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov took part in the opening ceremony of exhibition and conference “Pure Water. Kazan” held today in the capital of Tatarstan.

This event is held in Kazan for the fourth time. The exhibition presents a full range of equipment and services for the restoration and protection of water resources, municipal and industrial water supply, waste water treatment, water bottling and other. The exhibitors include industrial companies, agencies, and academic institutions, business structures from more than 10 regions of Russia as well as Denmark and Germany.

The opening ceremony was also attended by Deputy Head of the Federal Agency for Water Resources Vadim Nikanorov and Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Artyom Sidorov.

 “The proposals submitted annually at the exhibition are extensively used by large organizations and companies of the Republic. Today both at the federal level and in the country there is program “Pure Water” which was positively assessed by people in villages and towns. The same activities are being carried out in the cities of the Republic. This exhibition and conference present another opportunity not only to see new technologies but also to discuss issues of concern for citizens of Tatarstan and companies responsible for water supply in the Republic”, said Ildar Khalikov at the opening ceremony.

Ildar Khalikov said that before to head the Government of Tatarstan he had worked as the head of the municipality for seven years. “I can say that among many existing issues and problems the issues related to water supply cause the biggest response from the public. Water is the resource without which a man cannot live for even a short period of time”, he pointed out.
