Best municipalities involved in the construction of the football stadium in Kazan to be announced in May

The results of the competition announced among municipalities actively involved in the construction of the football stadium in Kazan being built for the Universiade 2013 will be known by May 15th-20th, 2013.  And by June 1st, 2013 the winners will be provided with the promised sports grounds. This was announced today by Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Irek Faizullin at a republican videoconference meeting chaired by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Prime Minister of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov and held in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan.

As previously reported, 100 playgrounds will be built in Tatarstan this year. They will appear in the territories of the municipalities that have been most actively involved in the construction and land improvement of the new football stadium. It will be a bonus for their good work.

According to Ildar Khalikov, today most areas have already complied with its obligations for the work at the stadium. Now it is very important that the main Investment and Construction Department has accepted the work performed. At the moment nothing has been accepted as everywhere there are some defects. In this regard, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan ordered to accelerate the elimination of defects and complete the work.

On April 14th, 2013 the President of the Republic will visit the stadium and monitor the progress of the work at the facility.
