Rustam Minnikhanov visits production units of “Nizhny Novgorod Engineering Company” “Atomenergoproyekt” OJSC (“NIAEP”)

The Republic of Tatarstan is interested in developing cooperation with “Nizhny Novgorod Engineering Company” “Atomenergoproyekt” OJSC (“NIAEP”) regarding the implementation of major projects. This was announced today by President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in Nizhny Novgorod within the framework of the Company’s activities presentation.  

It is to be recalled that the delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan headed by Rustam Minnikhanov is on a working trip in Nizhny Novgorod, where the delegation visits the production units of “NIAEP” OJSC. This enterprise holds a leading position in the industry to provide engineering services for the design and construction of “key ready” nuclear power plants and power generating units.

 “NIAEP” OJSC performs construction and installation work, procurement, intelligent design, cost management and timing of construction of power generating units, adaptation of foreign technology and solutions under Russian and international standards, and EPC/M (engineering – procurement - construction / management).

 “We are interested in the experience of “NIAEP” OJSC in the implementation of major projects, as well as in your structural reforms”, said Rustam Minnikhanov. He briefly spoke about the economic projects being implemented today in Tatarstan, including the development of special economic zone “Alabuga”, the developments of “KAMAZ” OJSC and “Ford Sollers”, as well as the construction of innovative satellite city “Innopolis”.

According to Rustam Minnikhanov it is possible to combine efforts and expertise of “NIAEP” OJSC and experts of the Republic of Tatarstan in order to use effectively the state of the art technology and equipment of “NIAEP” OJSC when designing and managing complicated engineering objects.

President of Tatarstan invited the executive management of “NIAEP” OJSC to make a presentation on the Company’s capabilities at one of the meetings of the Board of Directors of “Tatneftekhiminvest-holding” OJSC.
