Issues of occupational health and safety in the construction sector discussed today in Almetyevsk

Within the framework of a month dedicated to the World Labor Day celebrated annually on April 28th, the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan held an enlarged meeting of the working group on occupational health and safety in the construction sector of the Republic of Tatarstan, combined with a training seminar on occupational health and safety, on April 24th, 2013 in Almetyevsk.

The event was attended by heads of executive committees, construction companies and enterprises producing construction materials, operating within the territory of the municipalities of the Zakamsk area.

Prior to the plenary meeting the participants visited a residential house under construction located in neighborhood 2B “Yashlek”, and producer of construction materials LLC “Baulyuks” where they got acquainted with the arrangement of the work on the compliance with the rules and standards of occupational health and safety.

Representatives of the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan, the State Labor Inspectorate in the Republic of Tatarstan, the State Constructional Surveillance Inspectorate, executive committees and heads of construction companies reported at the plenary meeting.
