The results of the 2d Republican Architectural Competition of the Republic of Tatarstan “Architectural Oscar” announced

The awarding ceremony of the second Republican competition “Architectural Oscar” took place in Shopping and Entertainment Centre “Korston-Kazan”. The event was arranged by the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan, the National Agency for Architecture and Urban Planning, Kazan State University for Architecture and Construction and Corporation TekhnoNIKOL; a partner of the event was company Henkel Bautechnic trademarked Cerezit.

The competition was attended by  Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tajikistan V.N.Kudryashev , Head of the National Agency for Architecture and Urban Planning (Moscow) Y.L.Kosorenkova, Head of the Administration of the  Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan  I.S.Gimayev, President of Corporation TekhnoNIKOL  S.A.Kolesnikov as well as representatives of Kazan State University for Architecture and Construction, Company Henkel and representatives of the participating companies.

The following projects were submitted for the competition: projects of residential, industrial and storage buildings, building development projects, projects of reconstructed industrial, residential, storage buildings and structures, as well as public facilities for any purpose in the Republic of Tatarstan, developed within the period from March 2011 to March 2013. The total number of applications was 70, of which, according to the results of voting, 35 were selected, in three candidates to win in each category.

Opening the ceremony V.N.Kudryashev expressed his gratitude to all architects who daily contribute to the development of the architecture and construction development of the Republic of Tatarstan: “It is your job that influences our future”.

The winners of competition “Architectural Oscar” were awarded with certificates and prizes.
