Irek Faizullin reported on the implementation of target Republican programs

Over the past three weeks the number of apartment houses in Tatarstan, where major repairs started, has increased by 79. This was announced today by Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Irek Faizullin at a weekly Republican meeting in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan. He reported on the implementation of target Republican programs.

It is to be recalled that the meeting was traditionally held as a video conference with all municipalities of Tatarstan. The meeting was chaired by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

The Head of the Ministry of Construction reminded that the list of houses to be repaired in 2013 includes 811 apartment houses in 41 municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan for a total amount of 4.35 billion rubles (except Atninsky, Alkeyevsky, Kaibitsky and Cheremshansky municipalities).

According to Irek Faizullin, the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tatarstan brought the Republican part of the funds for major repairs to recipients; contractors which will carry out the work have been selected.

The documents confirming the cadastral registration of the land plots for apartment houses are being submitted. According to the Minister, all apartment houses should be registered.

In the framework of federal target program “Pure Water” Tatarstan received a subsidy from the federal budget in the amount of 43.6 million rubles to repair 5 objects. The Fund for the installation of gas service carried out the reconstruction of water supply systems at three sites: Buinsky, Tukayevsky and Cheremshansky areas.

This year more than 4.88 thousand apartments in 318 houses in 22 areas of Tatarstan are to be transferred to the individual heating system.

In almost all areas major repairs in schools have been started. Irek Faizullin asked to speed up this work in Tetyushsky and Kamsko-Ustinsky areas. Totally, 162 municipal schools (20 schools in Kazan) and 7 special schools are to be repaired in 2013. The total amount of work is 2.5 billion rubles.

As for the program on the construction and renovation of primary health care facilities, the work is being carried out as scheduled. This year the work is to be carried out at 417 sites, including the construction of 75 village first-aid stations.

The President of Tatarstan drew special attention to the need for proper operation of facilities built or renovated within the Republican programs. The example of poor operation is the collapse of a new water tower in Cheremshansky area. According to Rustam Minnikhanov, all facilities are to be inspected annually.

 “We have to work out a mechanism. Perhaps some grants or competitions should be allocated or held. There are property holders and they must provide the current status and proper maintenance. It is offensive that we are building, and then no one needs it”, said the President of the Republic of Tatarstan.
