A test drive to new stations takes place in the Kazan underground

Today a test drive to new stations took place in the Kazan underground. Among the first passengers was President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov

Before visiting the underground the President of the Republic, accompanied by Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Irek Faizullin and  Minister of Transport and Road Facilities of Tatarstan Lenar Safin made an inspection of Kazan roads. Rustam Minnikhanov personally assessed the condition of the road surface in Bolshaya Krasnaya Str., Dzerzhinsky Str., Lobachevsky Str., Profsoyuznaya Str., on the Kirov dam, Moskovskaya Str., Tatarstan Str., Pavlyukhin Str., Zorge Str., Fuchik Str. and Prospekt Pobedy Str. The participants of the inspection also visited the construction site of Millennium Square, where they became acquainted with the work.

In the underground Rustam Minnikhanov drove from station “Kozya Sloboda” to a new station “Aviastroitelnaya” by train “Rusich”.  The President accessed the progress of the construction as satisfactory, noting that the major work had been completed, and the builders should only complete the landscaping of the new stations.
