Meeting with executive management of Dow Chemical Company and Holding Company Kompozit, CJSC held in the Ministry of Construction

Today, the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan held a meeting with a delegation of Dow Chemical Company and “Holding Company  “Composite”, CJSC.

The delegation was presented by Director of Dow Chemical Company for Government Relations and New Business Development D.Parks, Head of the Dow Chemical for Government Relations and New Business Development D.Betty, Director of Business Development of the DowAksa L.Gur, Director for Government Markets of the Dow Europe in Russia O.Pilatova and Project Coordinator of the Dow Olympic Operations S.Belyavsky, as well as Business Development Director of “Holding Company “Kompozit”  M.Stolyarov and S.Petrov, a representative thereof.

The meeting was chaired by Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing A.S.Akhmetshin. The meeting was also attended by representatives of the construction sector and employees of the Ministry of Construction. The participants discussed the issues of cooperation and use of composite materials in civil engineering and at infrastructure facilities, as well as the issues of implementation of pilot projects on the use of carbon fiber in the construction, repair and reconstruction of civilian infrastructure (buildings of central heating stations, bridges and overpasses, pedestrian bridges, historic buildings) in the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The representatives of the delegation made a presentation on their activities, and also noted that they would like to participate in the implementation of the state programs in the construction sector in the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan.
