Tatarstan receives additional 400 million rubles from the Housing Fund

Tatarstan will receive 400 million rubles from the Fund Assisting the Restructuring the Housing and Public Utilities. This was announced today by First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of Tatarstan Farid Khanifov at a national videoconference meeting on the construction and commissioning of housing, held in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan, attended by the President and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan.

 “The Republic of Tatarstan took the 1st place among the entities of the Republic of Tatarstan. It will allow attracting additional 400 billion rubles in 2013. The distribution of these funds will be prepared and submitted for approval”, he said.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, in his turn, noted that it was an award for efficiency in restructuring the housing and public utilities, as well as for the successful implementation of regional programs in this area. These funds were earned by joint efforts of all ministries and departments of the Republic as well as municipalities, and will be used for major repair.

Farid Khanifov also said that the funding for the program on major repairs in the Republic of Tatarstan in 2013 amounted 4 billion 700 million rubles. The program involves 41 areas. These are 823 apartment houses with a total area of ​​5.6 million square meters. It is planned to improve the living conditions of 233.6 thousand people. As of today, the work has started in 730 houses. Also, the work is underway in schools and village first-aid station.

The President of Tatarstan offered to take pictures, when commissioning, and attach them to acts of completed works to prevent come-offs and write-offs.

In addition, Rustam Minnikhanov recommended attracting sponsors and using internal resources of the areas to carry out good major repairs in schools.
