The participation of Tatarstan in federal programs depends on the active work of the deputies of the State Duma from the Republic of Tatarstan. This opinion was expressed by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov during a meeting with the deputies and Tatarstan members of the Federation Council. The meeting took place in the Plenipotentiary Representative Office of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting was also attended by Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Mukhametshin, Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Irek E.Fayzullin, and heads of other republican ministries.
Opening the meeting Rustam Minnikhanov noted the successful implementation of a number of federal programs in Tatarstan. According to him, it is a merit of both the Government of the Republic and members of Parliament. “The amount of funding allocated under these programs is great, but we must work hard to make these amounts larger”, said the President of Tatarstan.
He stressed that in order to participate in federal programs it is essential to know in advance about their development. Therefore, Rustam Minnikhanov urged the deputies to interact with the federal ministries, as well as major federal development institutions and state-owned companies.
“The deputy group of Tatarstan should be powerful and authoritative”, said the President of Tatarstan.
Chairman of the State Council Farid Mukhametshin invited the deputies to visit enterprises of Tatarstan to learn about the existing problems.
The members of Parliament, in their turn, made their own suggestions and remarks. The President of Tatarstan stressed the readiness of the Republic to support all initiatives of the deputies aimed at the development of the Republic.
