Meeting with the management of General Electric held today in the Ministry of Construction

Today, the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan held a meeting with representatives of company General Electric within the framework of the execution of the  Orders of President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam N.Minnikhanov following the meeting with Executive Director of General Electric in Russia and the CIS Rohn Pollett, held on February 20th, 2013,  to consider the cooperation with General Electric with regard to the development of the public energy service. During the meeting there was made a presentation on “Technical and economic efficiency of GE Jenbacher gas piston systems and their use in the public energy service”.

The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan A.M.Frolov, Director of business development of the GE D.A.Peregudov, Head of Sales Department in the CIS of GE Power Water Gas Engines I.V.Saprykin, management of “Intma” CJSC, Director General of “Vodokanalservis” JSC A.L.Garayev, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of RTA “Union of Public Utilities of the Republic of Tatarstan” N.S.Kashcheyeva, representatives of the housing sector of the Republic of Tatarstan and experts of the Ministry of Construction.

During the presentation the participants were able to read the report of company General Electric on the following topics:

Overview Presentation of General Electric. GE in the world, Russia and the Republic of Tatarstan.

Gas power plants of GE Gas Engines. Overview of the equipment

Experience in use of GE Jenbacher energy centers at the objects of industry, agriculture and housing.

Features of the technical implementation of the projects. Island mode and work “in parallel with the network”.

Technical and economic performance of the projects. Factors affecting the return on the projects.

Project risk management. The organization of work and project management.

 

Also the participants discussed directions of the development of the public energy service in the Republic of Tatarstan.
