Rustam Minnikhanov discussed the further development of projects in the territory of SEZ “Alabuga” with representatives of “Shishejam”

The further development of the projects of company “Shishejam” (Turkey) in special economic zone “Alabuga” was discussed today at the meeting between President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and representatives of the company.

The meeting was held in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan and attended by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Zaripov, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Radik Gimatdinov, Director General of "SEZ “Alabuga” JSC Timur Shagivaleyev, representatives of the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan, etc.

Welcoming the guests Rustam Minnikhanov said that on June 1st, 2013 the delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan had visited the Republic of Turkey, city of Eskisehir, where cultural activities had taken place, business meetings had been held and the industrial and investment potential of the Republic of Tatarstan had been presented.

Rustam Minnikhanov expressed the hope that projects of Turkish companies - residents of the SEZ would be launched in autumn 2013 in the territory of SEZ “Alabuga”. In addition, he proposed to consider the participation of Prime Minister of Turkey Mr. Erdogan in the opening ceremony of the Turkish manufacturing companies.

During the meeting the President of Tatarstan discussed a number of operational issues to ensure the further development of the projects with the representatives of company “Shishejam”. In particular, water supply to the new production, rental apartments for the employees of company “Shishejam” in Yelabuga, and visa support for Turkish experts.
