Kazakhstan delegation visits the Universiade Venues

Today, within the framework of the visit of a delegation of the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning of Almaty the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of Tatarstan arranged a visit to the Universiade Venues such as the Tennis Academy, the Athletes’ Village, football stadium “Kazan Arena” and the Aquatics Palace.

Next, the Ministry held a meeting with the Kazakh delegation during which the Universiade Venues, and the information on the implementation of state and republican programs such as major repairs of apartment houses, the construction of facilities of SEZ “Alabuga”, rural clubs, rural health posts, the revival of cultural heritage of the ancient city of Bolgar and island Sviyazhsk, etc. had been presented. During the meeting the participants discussed the issues of urban planning legislation, funding for the construction of social facilities, the development of general plans of cities and settlements and the housing development in cities.

At the end of the meeting the representatives from the both parties exchanged souvenirs and gifts.
