Member of FIFA Executive Committee Hani Abu Rida visits stadium “Kazan-Arena”

Today, President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with member of the Executive Committee of FIFA (Federation Internationale de Football Association - International Football Federation, FIFA) Hani Abu Rida. Together they visited stadium "Kazan-Arena" being constructed within the framework of the preparation the 27th World Summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan.

The official meeting was held in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan and attended by Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Radik Gimatdinov and Director General of ANO “Executive Directorate “Kazan 2013” Vladimir Leonov.

The participants discussed the sports facilities constructed within the framework of the preparation the Summer Universiade2013, in particular, the new football stadium under construction “Kazan-Arena” for 45000 spectators.

Accompanied by Rustam Minnikhanov member of FIFA Executive Committee Hani Abu Rida visited the site of football stadium “Kazan-Arena” and get acquainted with the construction progress and techniques and construction materials used at the site.
