Major repairs of schools started in all municipalities of Tatarstan

Major repairs of schools started in all 45 municipalities under the program for 2013. The President of Tatarstan instructed to develop a system to encourage those who were the best when carrying out the repairs.

According to the Ministry of Construction of Tatarstan, major repairs are being carried out in 163 schools of 167 schools:  roof being repaired in 120 schools and completed in 29; windows being installed in 134 schools and completed in 41; entrances being repaired  in 43 schools and completed in 3, internal doors being repaired in 68 schools and completed in 7;  rest rooms being repaired in 94 schools and completed in 11; internal networks being installed in 105 schools and completed in 2; facades being repaired in 22 schools and completed in 2; perimeter pavements being constructed  in 18 schools and completed in 6, and finishing (provided for in special schools) completed in 5 schools. The work has not been started yet in 4 schools.

Today, at the meeting held in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov asked Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan Engel Fattakhov to develop a system to encourage those who were the best when carrying out the repairs of educational facilities.   “Let us think over and honor the best ones”, said Rustam Minnikhanov.

In addition, the Head of the Republic urged the participants to help their schools where major repairs are being carried out. In this case, it should be legitimate, he said
