A contract for equipment supply signed between “KDSK” LLC and German company “Sommer Anlagentechnik GmbH”

Today, a contract for the supply of the equipment for upgrading of the production of precast reinforced concrete products, based on former plant “KPD-3”, was signed  between “KDSK” LLC, included in the group of companies “AK BARS Development” and company “Sommer Anlagentechnik GmbH” (Germany, Altheim) in the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The Russian part was presented by Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of Tatarstan Irek Faizullin, First Deputy Head of the Executive Committee on Urban Policy Azat Nigmatzyanov, Director General of “AK BARS Development” LLC Marat Shagitov, Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Azat Akhmetshin, Deputy Director of “AK BARS Development” LLC Idar Safin, Manager of “Bank of Tatarstan” of  “Sberbank of Russia” Rushan Sakhbiyev, and Executive Director of “KDSK” LLC Aleksandr Sidorov. The German delegation was headed by Managing Partner of “SOMMER” Anlagentechnik GmbH Alfred Shtrasmayer.

Company “Sommer Anlagentechnik GmbH” is one of the leading providers of advanced equipment for plants producing precast concrete. Extensive experience enabled the company to open offices in Belgium, Spain and China.

Volumes of production of updated enterprise KDSK updated after the first phase of the modernization will amount to 150 thousand square meters of housing per year with the possibility of further increasing the capacity of the plant on the next stages of its modernization.

The modernization program includes the installation of new universal process equipment able to be remodeled according to a variety of the product range, as well as to a significant increase in the production capacity. Changes in traditional production schemes by the automation and use of modern equipment leads to an increase in product quality and reduce in production costs.

The result of the development of new technological solutions will be the transfer of basic production operations directly from the construction site into the workshops. As a result, the main product will be houses with a modern attractive appearance and high-quality interior engineering systems ensuring increased energy efficiency. In addition, one of the major advantages of panel housing construction is the reduction of construction time and ultimate cost of housing for consumers.

At the first stage it is planned to invest in the plant upgrading more than 700 million rubles involving credit funds of the Sberbank of Russia. The project was included in the federal program on modernization of Russian construction industry and claimed to compensate for the interest rate.
