Public spaces will be improved in 49 settlements of Tatarstan

In 2022, it is planned to improve public spaces in 49 settlements of Tatarstan. In total, 67 objects will be implemented, 65 of them will be built, two will be designed.

"We are talking about advanced design. These are two complex water bodies. The first object is the beach in Mendeleevsk, the second is the completion of the improvement of the cascade of ponds in Bugulma," said the head of the Department of Architectural Projects of the Foundation "Institute of Urban Development of the Republic of Tatarstan" Nail Zinnatullina at a press conference in the news agency "Tatar-inform".

So, this year ten new parks and squares will appear in Tatarstan, four of them new public spaces in Kazan, the rest in municipal districts of the republic.

The total amount of financing for the improvement of public spaces for 2022 is 2.6 billion rubles.

First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexey Frolov noted that all state programs in Tatarstan in the field of landscaping will be financed according to the approved limits. "All projects will be implemented within the planned funding limits. Our task is to work out as much as possible all issues related to the implementation of planned activities," Alexey Frolov said.

The First Deputy Minister reminded reporters that the implementation of the federal project "Formation of a comfortable urban environment" in the Republic of Tatarstan is carried out within the framework of the national project "Housing and urban Environment" The purpose of the project is to create mechanisms for the development of a comfortable urban environment, integrated development of cities and other settlements, taking into account the urban environment quality index.

Total in the period from 2015-2021 . There are 351 public spaces in the republic. Also, from 2018 to 2021, 26 objects were implemented within the framework of the All-Russian competition for the best projects for creating a comfortable urban environment in small towns and historical settlements.
