Culture Center being built in village Usady of Vysokogorsky area

Pavement and lights have appeared in the main street of village Usady. Orthodox Church is being restored, the area around being improved. The construction of a cultural centre began in late February, 2013.

This large settlement needed a good building for a culture centre. Now it is located in an old stone building of landlords Zhuravlev, and, of course, it no longer meets the modern requirements.

A multifunctional building with a total area of 510 square meters being constructed near race track “Usady”, is designed to meet not only the cultural needs of the population. It will house a cultural center, a library, and a rural settlement. The largest area of 300 square meters will be occupied by a hall for 300 seats. All modern conveniences including a cloakroom, a bathroom, a boiler room and a pantry will be provided therein. The central entrance is located on the part of the road leading to the distillery, and the end of the building “looks out” at the sports complex, from where one can watch winter track racing.

According to the foreman of the construction, the roof is planned to be pitched, and the facility is to be commissioned in late August, 2013. The finishing work is to be completed.
