Almaz Akhmetshin attends the opening ceremony of an underground car parking and a landside square in Kazan

A single-level underground parking for 261 car spaces and a square were opened today near the railway station in Kazan. The opening ceremony was attended by President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Almaz Akhmetshin, Chairman of the Board of “Ak Bars Bank” Robert Minnegaliyev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Ak Bars Bank”, Director General of “Svyazinvestneftekhim” Valery Sorokin and other officials. The construction of the parking and renovation of the square began in September, 2011 with the direct participation of “Ak Bars Bank”. The parking is equipped with modern facilities and located on one of the most important transport junction of Kazan. The facility will relieve all the adjacent territory from cars parked on the roadside. When the project was being implemented, much work on the removal of existing communications, dewatering and water disposal was performed.
