On June 29th, 2013 Head of Laishevsky area Mikhail Afanasyev opened a modular village first-aid station in village Astrakhanka.
Earlier, the villagers had to seek medical care in the medical center located in settlement Narmonka. But it was difficult to go there for the elderly and mother with children. So, this day had been long waited for.
The construction of a modular first-aid station was made possible thanks to Republican target program “Improvement of primary health care to the population of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2012 – 2016”. In 2012, major repairs were carried out in two modular outpatient clinics, two modular first-aid stations were opened and a new outpatient clinic was constructed in Laishevsky area using the budget of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The opening ceremony was attended by Head of the area Mikhail Afanasyev. He congratulated the residents of the village with such a significant event. The Head of the district noted that the next week another modular first-aid station would be opened in settlement Tangachi.
The station will serve both the residents of village Astrakhanka, and the residents of a small village of Tatarsky Kabany. It will house a medical assistant office, handling and reception rooms equipped with all required furniture and equipment.
