The first batch of large-capacity process equipment was delivered to the construction site of the Complex for production of ammonia, methanol and granulated carbamide of “Ammony” JSC. A special dock to accept the equipment was built last year on the bank of River Kama in Yelabuga. So, the cargo was delivered by barge which moored the dock.
Foreign contractor MHI (Japan) unloaded and delivered 16 units of large-capacity process equipment to the construction site; the delivered equipment is immediately assembled. Some of the equipment has already been installed.
9,000 tons of steel structures were delivered to the construction site; 2,400 tons thereof have been mounted.
Subcontractors “IKhK Tatgazinvest” JSC (Kazan), “Alteks Stroi” LLC (Nizhny Novgorod), STPK “Povolzhye” LLC (Nizhnekamsk), “Rostekhstroi” LLC (Nizhnekamsk), “Antikorstroi” LLC (Perm) are performing the work on laying pipelines and installation of reinforced concrete structures within the area of responsibility of the Russian general contractor “NIIK” JSC. Finishing work is being carried out on administrative and laboratory buildings, residential buildings and the plant management building.
1,250 workers and 137 units of construction equipment are involved in the construction.
