Second phase of “Korston” opened in Kazan

The opening ceremony held in restaurant “Extra Lounge” on the 25th floor of the new building, was attended by President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, President of the group of companies “Korston” Anatoly Kuznetsov, Director General of “Korston-Kazan” Rais Mubarakzyanov, Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan I.E.Faizullin, and representatives of ministries and departments.

The construction of the second phase of the complex entitled “Korston-Kazan”" was launched in March, 2012. The new building houses a modern business center with offices of class “A” for 9 thousand square meters, a conference hall with 8 meeting rooms accommodating from 50 to 150 people, 213 hotel rooms of category “4 Star”, and a panoramic restaurant for 200 people (on the 25th floor). The capital investment in the second phase of the complex was about 45 million U.S. dollars.

When addressing the guests and participants of the ceremony, Anatoly Kuznetsov thanked the government of the Republic of Tatarstan for the trust. “I have traveled around two-thirds of the country, and in no region showed such attitude to investors, - he said. - In Tatarstan it is a two-way road”.

Rustam Minnikhanov noted that the second phase of “Korston”" is one of the most quickly constructed facilities. “Korston” has been working s in Kazan for 6 years, as he recalled, and this is a great benefit for the city and the country as a whole. That is why various international events are held therein. “In particular, the Headquarters of the Universiade 2013 are located in “Korston”, and it shows great confidence in the people who work herein”, said Rustam Minnikhanov.

Tatarstan President also expressed his gratitude to the team of “Korston”, builders, designers and handed the letters of gratitude of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan to President of the group of companies “Korston” Anatoly Kuznetsov and Director General of “Korston-Kazan” Rais Mubarakzyanov, as reported by the Press Service of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan.
