As of July, 3d 2013, major repairs of apartment houses have been completed for a total amount of 3 billion 497 million rubles in the Republic of Tatarstan, which is 74% of the annual limit. The work is being carried out in 821 apartment houses out of 823 houses, defined by the program of 2013, in 41 municipal areas of ​​the Republic. This was announced today by Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of Tatarstan Irek Faizullin at the Republic’s meeting held in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting was chaired by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. The event was held as a video conference with all municipal areas, and was broadcast on the Internet (www.prav.tatarstan.ru). As for the program on major repairs of secondary schools in 2013, all 167 schools included in the program in 2013, were inspected, and final reports for 165 objects were submitted to the GISU. The work has started in 45 municipalities. For example, roofs are being repaired in 138 schools (completed in 43 schools),  windows are being installed in 138 schools (completed in 55 schools), entrance lobbies are being repaired  in 69 schools (completed in 7 schools), interior doors are being installed in 87 schools (completed in 15 schools), water closets are being repaired in 110 schools (completed in 12 schools), internal networks are being repaired in 129 schools (completed in 6 schools), facades are being renovated in 39 schools (completed in 6 schools), blind areas are being constructed in 40 schools (completed in 24 schools), finishing work ( provided for in special schools) is being carried out in 5 schools.
