Major repairs of the housing stock being under way in Nizhnekamsk

Major repairs of the housing stock are being continued in Nizhnekamsk. Today the work is being carried out at 92 sites. The work has been completed in 13 apartment houses (64 Mira Str., 48, 54 Shinnikov Str., 1a Mendeleyev Str., 7,9, 18,17 Yubileinaya Str., 21b Yunosti Str., 36b Khimikov Str., 1a, 4 Gagarin Str., 17 Vakhitov Str.). In the other houses the repairs have been completed by 75 per cent. It is to be recalled that this year 105 apartment houses are to be repaired in Nizhnekamsky municipal area. The list of works carried out during major repairs includes repair of facades, roofs, replacement of pipes for hot and cold water supply and electrical wiring. The program provides for the replacement and modernization of the elevator equipment for a total of 183.1 million rubles that’s 39.2% of the total program of 467.45 million rubles. Elevators will be replaced in many houses. As of today, the work on the replacement and modernization in residential houses is being carried out in 36 houses. 100 elevators will be replaced and upgraded altogether.
