Rustam Minnikhanov holds a working meeting on the implementation of project “Innopolis”

A working meeting on the implementation of the project entitled “Innopolis” was held today by President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.
The meeting held in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan, was attended by Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Informatization and Communications of the Republic of Tatarstan Roman Shaikhutdinov, Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of Tatarstan Irek Faizullin, Minister of Transport and Road Facilities of the Republic of Tatarstan Lenar Safin, representatives of the Main Investment and Construction Administration (GISU) of the Republic of Tatarstan, “Kazansky Giproniiaviaprom” LLC, “PSO Kazan” LLC, etc.

A brief report on the work performed in the framework of the project was made by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Informatization and Communications of the Republic of Tatarstan Roman Shaikhutdinov. He, reported that the work is being carried out at the first start-up facility; the activities are being carried out in two blocks - a special economic zone “Innopolis” and “Innopolis” JSC.

The main technology park building will be one of the first facilities. The main technology park is a complex of four buildings with a total area of ​​130 thousand square meters. The first facility will be a 7-storeyed round building with the area of ​​40 thousand square meters.
The design of all objects of the first start-up facility has been completed, as reported by Roman Shaikhutdinov.

Then he presented the information on the project of the construction of the academic building of the Innopolis University.

The participants also discussed the construction of high-rise housing and social infrastructure for future residents of innovative satellite city “Innopolis”, as well as the issues concerning the construction of commercial housing at the expense of investing companies.

Rustam Minnikhanov instructed the participants of the meeting to gather together and work on the issues such as the provision of engineering infrastructure (drainage, gas supply), maintenance of the road infrastructure, etc. taking into account the necessary resources for the construction and further development of the area.

It is assumed that meetings on the implementation of the project entitled “Innopolis” and capital construction projects will be held every week.

Roman Shaikhutdinov also reported that there was a proposal to name the main street of innovative satellite city "Innopolis" as Universitetskaya Street. The President of Tatarstan approved the name.
