On progress of major repairs in Starokiyazlinskaya school in Aksubayevsky area

The summer vacations crossed the equator, but the corridors and classrooms of Starokiyazlinskaya school in Aksubayevsky area are even livelier than during the school year. Major repairs of the building are being carried out herein. It is being performed as part of the Republic’s program on major repairs of schools; the estimated cost is more than 12 million rubles.

The school building has never been repaired before. In February the windows of the assembly hall and classes were additionally insulated from outside by the film and now new windows have been installed. The ceiling seams between the boards have been pasted with mounting tape, blotted and puttied, and in some places the ceilings in classrooms and corridors have been whitewashed.

- Well, we had some fears after each rain and snow... Precipitation fell straight to the gym and assembly hall, and classrooms seeping through the joints, - said Director of the school Minzufer Mudarisov.

Starokiyazlinskaya school is a school with almost a century of history. In September 2015 it will celebrate its centenary. There is still some a lot of time before the anniversary of the school, but the first of September is just around the corner. But, according to the director, the school year should start on time. The work under the program on major repairs of schools is being conducted in eight directions. As of today, the windows have been completely replaced, 70 per cent of the roof has been covered, the bathrooms are being installed indoors (before they were located outside), the heating system is being installed, the doors in the rooms and classrooms are being installed, the outer doors and façade are waiting for their turn, and the final step is the construction of the blind area. Work is being steadily performed throughout the school - the radiators are being painted, the walls in some classes are being scraped from the paint, and in some classes the walls have already been whitewashed and painted. The director of the school “organized a tour” across the school up to the roof - the work is being carried out everywhere.

In addition to the repairs the alterations in the school are being conducted - the place of the two museums of the local history and military glory, united into one, will be occupied by a kindergarten which will be moved here after major repairs of the building opposite. It is planned that the school will house a rural settlement, a post office and a law enforcement station. The graduates are not only the pride of the school, but also, according to Minzufer Mudarisov, its chief assistants.

 “Help Your School” campaign started in Tatarstan and Minister of Education Engel Fattakhov asked directors, entrepreneurs, and all the inhabitants of the Republic to provide all possible assistance to their educational institutions. But the graduates of Starokiyazlinskaya school did not need any requests.

- We have a lot of graduates - sponsors - said Minzufer Mudarisov. - Their help is not limited to one-off promotions. We are supported by our investor - Director General of “Alteks” Almas Zagidulllin, Deputy Head of the executive committee Rais Galiyev, Head of the rural settlement Ilshat Zagidullin, countrymen Rais Shakirov, Head of Aksubaevsky Interior  Department Salikhzyan Safin, local business owners, natives of the village Rakhimzyan Mudarisov, Ibragim Musin, and students’ parents. The assistance of every person is invaluable. They provide the building materials for interior design of classes, promise to equip the "red carpet" from the gate to the school, install new gates, and buy wallpaper, paints …

And is there any person among us who helped his or her school? After all, if every former student makes something his or her school will be changed considerably. The “Help Your School” campaign is time to make the first move. There is still time.
