Occupational health and safety in the construction sector being on the agenda

Today, the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan held a meeting of the working group on occupational health and safety in the construction sector.

The meeting was chaired by Acting Deputy Minister - Head of the Administration of Construction Sector Development I.S.Gimayev. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan, State Constructional Surveillance Inspectorate of the Republic of Tatarstan, Volga Region Administration of Rostekhnadzor, State Housing Fund under the President of Tatarstan, as well as representatives of construction companies and employees of the Ministry of Construction.

During the meeting, the heads of construction companies reported on the state of occupational health and safety in the organizations and the work performed to correct problems identified during the inspection. Chief Technical Inspector of Tatarstan Republic’s organization, Trade Union of Russian Builders P.V.Glebov reported on the introduction of memory cards of personal security for the main positions of workers of the construction sector of the Republic of Tatarstan.
