Tatarstan and Moscow being included in the top three regions in terms of housing construction

5.3% of the total housing in Russia was commissioned in Tatarstan. Therefore, the region is on the same line with Moscow. The largest volumes of housing construction were carried out in the Moscow region (10%) and in the Krasnodar Territory (7.5%).

The list also  includes the Tyumen Region and Bashkortostan -  4.5%, St. Petersburg - 4.2%, Rostov Region - 3.7%, Leningrad Oblast - 2.5%, Belgorod region - 2.4%, Stavropol Territory – 2.2%. These regions of the Russian Federation built a little more than half of the total area of ​​the housing commissioned in Russia.

278.2 thousand apartments with a total area of ​​22.6 million square meters were commissioned in the first half of 2013, that is 107.6% of the corresponding period of the previous year (21.0 million square meters of housing were commissioned in the first half of 2012, that is 101.7% of the first half of 2011), as reported by Rosstat.
