Social innovation project “Live as a host” starts in Kazan

Tomorrow, the Management Company of Privolzhsky district will hold a presentation of a pilot draft social innovation project entitled “Live as a host” and a seminar for senior tenants entitled “The development of self-government in housing based on effectiveness of apartment houses’ councils.

The “Live as a Host” project is aimed at protecting the legitimate interests of the residents of the houses in terms of the proper maintenance of the common property of the housing stock and the provision of high quality public services by strengthening the public control over the activities of management companies, house owners’ associations and housing cooperatives of Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts.

The project will involve the residents in the housing stock management, and provides for the transparency in the activities of housing organizations, competition in the selection of contractors of management companies, as well as the organization of educational, informational and methodical activities for the residents.

The premises and material resources of information and methodological center “Domkom” supervised by the Management Company of Privolzhsky district will be a base centre for the project implementation.
